Shame

Shame on you for pretending to love me

Building me up to a better me

Providing visions of a future together

I guess you were too blind to see

Shame on you for making me hopelessly fall

Then acting too weak to pick me up

Letting me down to satisfy your selfish reasons

Even when you knew I was more than good enough

Shame on you for being worse than guys who are the same

Just as less as everyone else

You didn’t even put creativity into it

Guess I dodged a huge bullet with your help

Shame on you for fooling one time

I promise you’ll never get the chance to fool me again

I now know that I deserve beyond more than you gave

I have to thank you for it all in the end
